Community Quilts

Our guild donates many quilts throughout the year to organizations within Lethbridge and area.  Batting, backings and labels are available to complete your donation, along with a few members that donate the finishing of your quilts on a longarm machine.  The sizes are as follows but they can end up being any size you donate.  The “dolly” quilts and baby-crib size are the only sizes that the supplies are not available for and no label is required.

Dolly size is 18″ x 24″

Crib size is 36″ x 36″

Small size is 42″ x 50″

Medium size is 50″ x 60″

Large size is 60″ x 72″

Extra Large size is 72″ x 80″

Also accepted are twin size, double and queen size quilts but special request of cuts for batting and backing should be arranged with the Community Quilt Supply Committee (currently in 2022 is Sharon Anholt and Audrey Christiansen).

If you have a request for someone to have a quilt donated to, please contact our guild through a message on the Facebook page:  Lethbridge Centennial Quilters Guild

Habitat for Humanity was one of the Fall 2022 recipients of the LCQG Community Quilts program.   “The quilts were beautiful.  This project was a big success, and my Habitat Committee and our selected family were just thrilled to be chosen. Thanks, Anne Whiteside”
